Singing Melodies For You

I’ve been writing you this song.

It’s just a song :) but it’s from my heart.

It has been so hard but thinking of you and your smile let me know I could do it.

Weeks spent changing words, singing melodies,  fingering chords, humming harmonies.

Not entirely sure how it has turned out. I’ll leave it a bit before you hear it. It’s been so overwhelming. Trying to write you this happy song when I have been feeling so down.

But I’m hoping it’s worth it. Even if it doesn’t reel in the marks at school… even if it’s not my best song… I’ve definitely put the most effort into it and I did it for you. It’s a first. It’s for you.
