Distractions…

I thought I’d just put it out there that there is absolutely no possibility that I am procrastinating at the moment. No, of course I don’t have anything more productive I should be doing with my time. I mean really, really should be doing. …. *forced smile*

Ok I do but it seems that when I want something to come it won’t and when I’m busy I have a million things to write about. Like today, I had a Modern History Assessment and it was an in class test. As daunting as that was, try having an intern on his first day supervising you. It took me a good 2o minutes to forget that he was standing at the front of the classroom watching us. Gosh all I wanted to be doing at that moment was to write a formal complaint to the school:

“Dear school, I wish to inform you that today in fourth period I was unable to complete my Modern History Assessment task to the full off my capabilities owing in no small part to the sudden presence of a certain young intern of the male species with a penetrating smile. I think it would only be acceptable and I urge you to take this into consideration when marking my exam. Warmest regards, a blushing and disappointed Nicola.”

I had to tell myself somehow my assessment task required more attention.

*Moral of the story: Even when you try your hardest not to get distracted by a guy…. it’s probably never going to work no matter how much more  important the thing is that you should be doing.

*2nd moral of the story… ummm still try anyway!

Yes I remebered it! No I did not just freak out because I had better study.

Aww no and it’s winter term so I have to start wearing this horrid new blazer.

It better not be cold tomorrow.

Haha yeah also remembered just ten minutes ago that school goes until five o’clock for me on Mondays.

Tomorrow is Monday.

Must remember to remind Mum before we leave for school, so as not for her to forget to pick me up again. :P

We better have one heck of a coffee break for afternoon tea in Society & Culture. Once we’ve finished our test, of course.

Hmmm the joys of school.

Maybe I should buy some crayons…

They might cheer me up. At least a bit more than my black felt tip, ‘poetry pen’ that leaves ghastly ink stains everywhere. How depressing.
